Does anybody care?

Postby chuckr37 » Fri Jun 07, 2002 3:27 pm

About the fight tonight? Tyson vs. Lewis. $50 on pay per view, and I think I heard $2400 for tickets! Boxing went down the tubes when Sugar Ray & Ali left the sport. Does anybody actually like Mike Tyson or do they just bet on him because he is a savage? Tyson will probably win tonight, but will he stop before he kills Lewis?
OK, I am done ranting now, its just my opinion, let me hear yours.

boxing

I think boxing is a stupid sport anyway! A bench-clearing brawl, okay, but knocking the other guy out and ruin his brain? (if they have any...)

I think....

I think boxing is a great sport.I think that it has totally gone down the tube though.I really wish that I could say I was around for the famous Ali,Frazier,Foreman fights, but I've seen them all before and they are awesome.NOTHING like today's boxing.Today's boxing is just about money and everything goes to the heads of these boxers. Now a Tyson vs. Lewis fight IS exciting.I DID watch it,and I DID enjoy it,but that's one fight in 2-3 years that's actually worth watching. These fighters just don't fight NEARLY as much as they should.Anyone else agree with me here?
