I'm in a 5x5 8 team auction league. In the league there is no waiver time and there's no maximum on games or innings for a player. My team is:

Just for your information there are good players in Free Agents like Aubrey Huff, John Olerud, Ben Sheets and Damian Moss. How is my team? What are my weaknesses? And what should be my strategy for the season?

youre offense seems well balanced. the outfield is nothing great, but cameron is a good guy to have on the bench. your trio of closers is excellent, percival, nenn, and wagner. the one thing i would suggest is maybe try to package one of those closers with renteria(hes too good to have sitting on the bench) to a team who needs a ss, for a quality starter. maybe a matt morris or tim hudson. just something to consider.

I would pick up Huff in a heartbeat and seriously consider Moss. Olerud is good, but you really don't need him. Gottabelieve is right about your OF; nothing spectacular, a lot of fairly decent guys but nobody who commands respect.

Some real queston marks in your rotation. Burnett's arm WILL fall off; just a matter of when, not if. Wolf, Perez, Washburn: will they do it again? I would parlay your IF and RP depth into a big OF guy and or another solid starter for your rotation.

Otherwise, you look good......pick up Huff NOW!!!

In an 8 team mixed league your starters will not do. Offense is solid though.

Who would I drop to pick up Huff? First I'd have to make a trade where I give away one extra player than I receive. Also, is my big name outfielder or a big name Starting pitcher more of a concern right now. Which one should I target first?

I would look for another starter right now; perhaps you can look at other options for your OF later in the year. It's certainly not bad, just not great.

You don't have a lot of dropable players. I would think the main guy to target for drop is Cameron, but that may be because I have a personal dislike for him.......I HATE his average......
