Ive heard some rumors that he is the new closer for Cleveland. Are these rumors true? I sure hope so :-) Hes on the free-agency in my league. If these rumors are true should I go ahead and pick him up before any else does? If I did this I would have to drop Hawkins. Is this a good move? I could use your advice ;-D

According to Rotoworld, he is now their closer.

It definitely wouldn't hurt to pick him up, but I don't know about dropping Hawkins for him. I don't think he'll stay as the closer for the rest of the season.

He is the flavor of the week in Cleveland--he has pitched like crap but is only in because Riske was worse. I would not place too much credence in his job security. If you are interested in a Cleveland closer, pick up Wickman and stash him on your DL. Unless Betancourt is fantastic, I think WIckman will eventually get his old job back, since the Indians can't be stupid enough to give the rock to Jose Jimenez in the 9th.

as of now, betancourt will be closing. as stated before, wickman will be getting the job back when he returns, whenever that is. if betancourt cant hold it down, then the job will more than likely will go to jimenez for a while when he returns. i dont know what the issue has been with the tribes pen. that was looking like a strength, yet it has become the biggest weakness. theyd have a .500 record without all those blown leads.....
theyre coming.....
