I hate asking people to rank players cause i feel they get annoyed so this is my first and hopefully last "rank" post.

B.Koch
M.Mantei


Rank these 3 please and reasons would be nice too.

jeez - larry, moe, and curly...they all suck but id say

biddle (he sucks and the expos suck but it's his job)
koch (i think he's the guy now and has had a few decent outings)
mantei (i heard they are inviting him to pitch at this year's home run derby )

Biddle- the man actually has some job security
mantei- His manager said he is the man but that was before today and his 11+ERA
koch- I am baised but i think this guy sucks balls and is waiting to implode.

yeah he's going to come around sooner or later and has pretty good job security because they want to trade him

it's one month in, I'm basing this mainly on track records

Biddle was absolutely terrible last year as a closer and he finally blew up again the other day, he does NOT have great job security, they can always turn to Cordero or Ayala

Biddle is a 6 era pitcher at heart

Koch on the other hand, he might be turning things around but at the moment he's still in a CBC situation and last year he was an abomination as well

Mantei? who knows what's going on but he's a proven closer and could very well just be going through a rough patch

If I had to lay my chips down on who'll get more saves this year and who'll have better numbers, I would still pick Mantei

remember, the stats that are going to count for the rest of the season aren't attatched to the current stats for this year

step back from Mantei's horrible recent outings and just look at the talent and track record each closer has and ask yourself who you'd like for your team's closer for the REST of the season

bench Mantei a few games til he turns it around or gets kicked out of the closer spot, he's the best bet in my opinion
