I would say for 9 pitchers around 1450-1500 IP is a good place to start.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

Is it a new league starting now (midseason) or an existing league that just didn't have a pitch limit defined? Gotta scale the number down if it's new.

It started at the beginning of the season...but for some reason, CBS only had it set for 7 pitchers
prorating it out to 9 would be around 1650 but wasnt sure if that was too many

Well a standard yahoo league has 7 pitchers and a 1250 innings limit so if you want something proportional, 1600-1650 would be about right.

if you wanna make it real then an everage ML staff throws just over 1450 innings per season... 1650 would allow people to fill up their staff with SPs imo. a 1650 IP and 9 slots would mean an avg. max of 183 IP per slot ! and when you do that people try to fill up their staff with below average SP's tp get W's and K's and the pitching stats in your league could get pretty ugly. thats how look at it.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
