This is REALLY my sub-fantasy baseball hobby!!

The thing is though, I ALWAYS have a 'favorite team' in just about every game. If there is a scenario when two teams I'm not that keen on (uh, St. Louis vs. Houston for example...), I will still pick A favorite team in most games. This can lead to complicated thinking w/ pitchers and hitters from all four (IRL/ Fantasy) teams and flipping w/ the remote, back and forth between two or three games, the least interesting one of which is on the station with the best scrolling stat display).

Or maybe it's just the computers that engender the depths of compulsion? I should have no interest in Julio Lugo's OBP (.349) but, well you know....

Thats a good thread on this discussion.

When you get offered a trade that happens to be the one out of every twenty trade offers you get that seem to help your team.

You then spend time cruching numbers, looking at age, ballpark factor, career splits, the other teams roster to see what they might be willing to part with to make it even sweeter, and finally run it bye the cafe.

After all that 1 hour + of research you finally decide to accept that rare trade offer that helps your team that well, pretty much your instinct had already told you to go with that in the first few seconds of haveing seen the offer.
