I need to dump one of these guys prior to the start of the season to make room for a starting catcher. Between the two, which one should get the axe?
The way I see it, Baez has great stuff, but won't get many save opps on a bad Cleveland team. It will also be his first full year as a closer. So who knows for sure how he'll perform.
On the other hand, Mantei should get a lot of save opps playing on a good Arizona team, and that's really the only real reason I like the guy. But the injury risk & the chance that Kim could be moved back to the closer's role at some point makes Mantei a big risk.
Thanks for your help.

I think Baez will prob put up better numbers over the season .
I think Mantei has too much downside between the two.

Thanks for the input! I was leaning towards dumping Mantei anyway. But I wanted some other opinions... It looks like keeping Baez is universal!
