I've read that he's bulked way up this offseason and that he's lost some bat speed. Any of you Sox fans hear anything about this? He's been looking terrible in Spring Training (from what I hear. A friend is down there). Give me some news. Should I try to trade him now?

I've heard hes fat. I guess you could call it "bulking up", but either way hes probably lost some bat and running speed. I'd look for a bump down of 10 points in his BA, but a slight power boost from low 20's to high 20's in HRs. and maybe some more rbis.

Viva la Trot!!

at the beginning of the season they said that trot did a lot of lifting, he weighs just a bit more but its mostly in muscle. He's having a very good season so far, one of the best ones since he came up. He seems to be running the same as last season, and he's more patient at the plate...he's turning into one of the games best outfielders. :-D

A friend of mine said it was around 50%, I couldn't believe it. 25-40 is less, but still an incredulously high amount. I wasn't here in March.

Ken Caminiti said that 50% of players were on steroids...
