When I saw the title of this thread, Marcus Giles was the first name to come to my head. He's going to be a very high pick if he continues like this. And he hasn't even shown off his power yet.

Most guys on that list have already had great seasons, or have been hyped up a lot. Benitez has always been one of the best closers in baseball, except for last year. And Cordero has been a good closer, and is doing just as good as most informed people thought he would.
Michael Young and Adam Everett are really the only surprises, and I drafted Everett in a few leagues because I thought he could be good. With the park and lineup in Houston, a good BA will make anybody a good fantasy player there.
As for Reyes, this season has done nothing but lower his fantasy value. Nobody wants to pay top dollar for a speedster with a fragile hamstring.

when was rolen not a high pick already? He was going in 3rd 4th round in every draft.
Marcus Giles works..personally I considered him a high-round guy already, but apparently he did slip down into the mid-rounds in a couple of my drafts. I also like the Benitez call, closers who have huge seasons and remain on the same team definitely have tons of potential to shoot up a bunch of rounds.
On another note, a guy who would definitely have been on this list last year is Jason Schmidt. He was a top-few-rounds pick this season, up from a top-half-rounds pick the year before, but thus far has largely disappointed. Is there anyone this year who you think has the potential to disappoint hugely like that? In the event that he actually does play himself into the upper-echelon of consistent performers, I would have to name Jermaine Dye as one due to his injury history and overall erraticness.
