If we have a college forum I can't find it, so I'll post it here. Has anybody seen this kid pitch? I've been hearing about him all spring but since I'm on the East Coast I haven't been able to see him myself. His line this season is incredible:

95 1/3 IP, 51 H, 13 BB, 146 K

Is he a flamethrower or a junkballer or what? Anybody know?

I believe that he's a pitcher in the mold of his brother, Jeff. But with a lot more talent. Think about how impressed you were with Ramon Martinez but how you kept hearing about his younger brother Pedro. I suspect we're on that same sort of he's-that-much-better-than-his-brother plateau.

But, unfortunately, I haven't seen him pitch. Tell you what- I'm in L.A. Wednesday and Thursday. If he's pitching, I'll check it out.

Nah, I just checked and they're off those two days. Thanks anyway. Maybe we'll all see him pitch in Omaha in a few weeks.

Oh well, I just checked and came to the same unhappy conclusion. I did see the guys picture though - he is one ugly mother.
