Who's Adam Piatt? I'll tell you, a darn viable OF backup for you! This kid won't be so great all year, but I think he's definitely worth a bench spot as a 4th OF. Today, my guys had a break, so I popped in Piatt, and he responds with 3/4 2 RBIs.

... a viable backup, and maybe much more in the not-so-distant future. Piatt's been on the radar screen since winning the Texas League mvp with a monster season in 1999. In terms of talent alone, he's on a level with Adam Dunn; now we'll see how much he makes of this opportunity. Don't expect huge numbers quite yet, but watch his development very closely.
