.....Chipper Jones, Garret Anderson, and Preston Wilson in my Yahoo league. Maybe he thought the injury bug was contagious and decided to cut his losses.

Dropping Preston Wilson is acceptable. But that's not the kind of league I would want to be in.

I agree, but I would like Chipper or Garrett over Preston. But yeah either way, none of them should be dropped, unless it's a season ending injury (which it's not).

The players I'll drop if I'm able to pick these guys up aren't exactly scrubs (Phil Nevin, maybe Mark Buerhle, maybe O. Cabrera). There are some good teams in my league (I'm currently in 3rd place), but it just seems that the free agent pool gets a lot of good players because the lousy teams keep dropping good players for trash. I've already gotten Peavy and Sheets after people dropped them and they look like 2 of my best pitchers so far. My biggest gripe, though, is this 21 player roster limit :-t

If it were bigger then there would be less dumb drops.
