For some reason, I'm hesitating. I have a few extra OFers; but, those guys are T. Hunter, M. Bradley, and C. Patterson.

Maybe the reason I hesitate is that Choi's other hits are for singles.

Hunter hits for low average; but, gets alot of extra base hits and usu. hits cleanup.

Bradley has more potential than Hunter and hits 3rd (for now ahead of Green)

Patterson may be low man on the pole; but, hits 2nd in a very good lineup.

:-o don't want anyone else to have him if he IS for real.
But if I pick him up I risk losing a good OFer (BTW I have Andruw and Luis G also)

So?

Yea, he's got either singles or homers, but whats wrong with that? The only other 'hit' you would be looking at would be doubles, and he had many of those last season, so he probably has some gap power. I'd assume you'd RATHER have him hitting homers than doubles, so I'm not sure why it should be such a concern.

I watch guy every game and think he is the real deal. While he obviously won't remain this hot, he has a good approach at the plate, drawing a lot of walks, and his numbers shouldnt plummet.

he's valuable b/c he hits in the middle of a very good lineup. don't have the stats handy but i know his OBP is pretty solid and even if (when) he stops hitting nothing but dongs and singles, if he is still getting on base he will continue to be worth starting on fantasy teams that don't have a *stud* 1b option.
