He is a converted RP who has pretty good stuff. He played for the Phils last year in a set up, sometime long releif role. I have had him on my roster since Day 1 as a RP since he is qualified there for the year with 61 RP appearances last year.
I would absolutely pick him up if he is on the WW a 12-14 season is very possible with OK ERA & WHIP #'s, biggest drawback is he is not a strikeout pitcher, but will get 3-4 a game.

He's ground ball pitcher. I picked him up and started him for the double last week and benched him this week (our league starts 10 pitchers)...
He was a starter in the minors and promoted straight from double A. He has a lot of appearences with the Phils over the previous 2 seasons. I dreaded him coming in with inherited runners... He seems to be staying in phront of hitters so far. My gut tells me he tires quickly this year...
He will be facing the Mariners next @ Sea. I have a dilema. Start Pinero or Silva or both... My team is severly lacking in Ks but Pinero is hurting ERA and Whip Cats...

Great, thanks for the info! Your first sentence made my decision...ground ball pitchers + new Metrodome turf = worth a roster spot.
Too bad Brandon Webb doesn't play in Minny.
