Until you've seen $150 budget Canadian commercials, I don't think you guys have much to complain about
Our beer commercials have GOT to be better than yours though. I guess it's the only product where the market is big enough to support genius marketing. Two girls making out in a bar? Can't beat that. The girl rubbing suntan lotion on another topless chick comes close, but is a respectable second.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

If I want softcore psuedo-pornography I can just do any random anotomical search on the internet. We got real men of genius on this side of the border....
As far as bad commercials go though I'm surprised nobody mentioned the "Video Professor". That guy seems like he's practically begging people to take these crap CD-Roms from him and get screwed with a subscription in the process.
"Please, try my product."
NO I WILL NOT TRY YOUR PRODUCT SO QUIT BEGGING!!!

Yeah, we get that old guy trying to tell me how to use a computer for free up here too. Man, why doesn't he just retire.
Also, a little softcore psuedo-porn in between innings never hurt anybody Would you rather have a real "man of genius" coming up with another creative way to say "Wazzzzzzzzzuppppppppppppp"? I'll stick to two chicks making out and rubbing suntan lotion on each other

Real men of Genius dont' say "Wazzzuuupppp" (that one got old kind of quick). But I think I get your point. Women making out tends to not get old ever. I guess in a perfect world I would like funny stuff and hot chicks in my beer commercials... If they could play the "real men of genius"-like audio in the background, of girls making out and rubbing each other down....

every time I see this ad I want to b _ _ _ _ - _ _ _ p the TV set.
I hate the viagra ad with the morons dancing in the street
any car ad where they try to sell a car to you by showing you how well it:
a) drives on an iceberg
b) sits on a barge
c) drives faster than the speed of sound
d) skids (on anything)
I really don't like levitra "quality response" ad... just SAY THE DAMN WORDS... I get quality responses from the tech support for my electronics... don't beat around the bush
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

".....I Love My Car....."
i simply turn the channel when that one comes on...
"i've got a feel for my automobile"
I think that is actually post freddy mercury Queen.
"he likes to keep his fire engine clean
it's a clean machine"

I don't know if this is just a local comercial, but it's always on after midnight, and it shows two kids building a brick wall, and their father won't let them stop until they finish. They can't go play with their friends or anything, they just have to build the brick wall. And when they're finished, the father comes out, and says, "Don't ever tell me there's something you can't do.", and then on of the future kid's voice says, "But there is something I can't do, I can't thank him enough." I don't know why, but this commerical just gets on my nerves. Oh.....am I only one....?

(I secretly love that one , but I think they pulled it because it scared or irritated people)
I see it all the time still. I like how they have to put what the little crazy things are singing up in writing because you can't understand what they're saying.
