i was eyeing him in the spring when he had a nice K/BB thing going, like 24/6... his era was like 2 early, but got up into the 3s.
he got rocked early this year but has been pitching nicely lately. he gave up 2 to the mariners and got the W yesterday. that and the O's O seems competent and capable of giving good run support...
so has anyone either in baltimore or into baseball seen dubose pitch? is he worth picking up/holding on to and riding out as the season goes along for a 15+ win 3.something ~175-200+ K darkhorse this year?
or is this early season/spring training success just a smokescreen and will he plummet to 4.5era mediocrity sometime soon?

as an OREO fan i get to watch them play a lot - dubose is a solid pitcher - with that offense this year he should definitely get into double digit wins with probably a high 3's era - he did have a 3.79 era in about ten starts at the end of last year - however i doubt he will come anywhere near those K totals you are hoping for - he is not really a strikeout pitcher - he is one of these leftys who get by with changeups and spotting pitches

I love him I think he is way better than Matt Riley.
