with A.P. listed as a 3b, of, and 1b, wouldn't he be a great pick considering my league has 3 utility positions? problem is i have the 3rd pick. would u take him there? hes not going to be around for me at the 18th pick in the second round. i'm new to fantasy baseball,,need help. thanks! :-)

Pujols isn't as valuable since you have 3 utility positions. If you only had one or none then he would be more valuable. My advice for you is to get him out of your head and think about taking A-Rod, Vlad, RJ, or Soriano

thanks for the advice,,a-rod has a herniated disc in his neck,,rj is 39 with a bad back, and soriano has had a shoulder problem for months now. i'm off AP, so it seems like its between Vlad and Barry.

If it's between Vlad and Barry, go with Vlad. He's a lot younger and will contribute to all 5 offensive categories. Barry has been great the last few years, but how much longer can he keep it up, considering his age? He's not worth it with Vlad still available.

You have to think STUD in the first round. If ARod or RJ are available with the third pick you have to take them.....

first 3 picks in a draft should always be vlad arod and rj not necessarily in that order.
