Mookie4ever wrote:Bill, what about Marcum this year? First year back from TJ and put into the #1 spot against opposing aces with a weaker offence supporting him. I'm thinking 10 wins, 4.50 era and about a 1.35 whip. Can I expect anything better?
coming back from TJ id give him a year. plus he will pitch against the Yanks, Sox, and Rays a ton. knowing how deep pitching is this year, he is watch list material.
And just because somebody is slotted as a number one, does not mean he will always face up against other teams aces. The schedule doesn't always work that way.
umm.. I would just like to put forth another request for a coffee cup. don't know why I want one so bad, but I am super jealous. I mean, I'm pretty cool right? ...... ....................................
I'm just bumping this to give a little guidance as to how we expect members to interact, and how you can expect mods to act if the rules aren't followed
Actual letters being used in posts will be represented by the $ symbol, asterisks or other attempts to skirt will be represented by *
You're an a$$hole (directed at a poster): warning Derek Jeter is an a$$hole: no warning, but perhaps a 'cool it' reply from a mod in the thread itself Derek Jeter is a $$nt: warning You're an idiot: warning, usually (an exception would be if this were directed toward a spammer, for example) Derek Jeter is an idiot: cool, cool F$$$ you: warning F*** you: warning F$$$ the umps: warning Those f***ing umps: no warning if it's a one-time outburst Those effin', frickin' umps: no warning
If people wanted to read farking bullsh1t like this from the duma$$ b1tches everywhere they turned, they'd just stay on the G*ddammned Yahoo f*cking message boards. That's not why you're here
People search the web for solid fantasy sports discussion where people talk like educated adults, instead of garbage like what's above.
Enjoy the Cafe! Vets, make the new members feel at home. That's the easiest way for the Cafe to thrive.

Please remember that the internet can lead to all kinds of misunderstandings. If you feel that someone has attacked you or made a remark that's below the belt, give them a chance to clear things up. Don't jump at anyone who puts their thoughts in different words than you do. Generally, there are good people on this board, and a little mutual respect will go a long way.
Finally, please don't take yourself too seriously. Fantasy opinions and humor are by no means mutually exclusive. The Cafe is, above all, a place for people to hang out, relax, and enjoy themselves. Obviously, sharing solid information is an important aspect of this site, but that doesn't mean it can't be a fun place. If words like "irony" or "sarcasm" are unknown to you, please consult your nearest dictionary.
Last but not least, we are offering the Cafe as a free service to you, and in return all we ask for is a little respect. Fantasy sports are fun, and both running and being part of a fantasy sports site should be as well. We are always happy about people who provide suggestions and criticize our work, but please word such comments in a way that is easily understandable without being impolite, so that we can help you and make the Cafe an even better place. Please don't resort to mere flaming or bashing our mods and admins, which we simply can't tolerate. Remember that everyone visiting a website is a guest - as your hosts, our staff will treat you with all the hospitality you deserve. Please, don't abuse this hospitality - in that case, our kitchen reserves the right to refuse service (other websites refer to this as "banning" - we merely see it as an invitation to explore other websites that might be a better match ).
I am a new member as of today
Thanks for following these simple guidelines, and enjoy the Cafe!
