Who would you take with your last pick?

Postby Vide0drome » Sat Mar 22, 2003 1:08 am

Who would you take out of this bunch with your last round pick? I have a well-balanced team, just trying to go for value.

Dave Veres
Brandon Larson
Lyle Overbay
Brett Myers
Doug Glanville

I would take Glanville or Myers, probably Myers unless you think you are more set at SP than hitters.

I don't see Veres doing too much. Even as the Cards full time closer he was barely worth owning. I haven't been as 'up' on MLB news the last day or two, as events of the last couple of days have taken precedence, but unless he is going to be a full-time closer somewhere, he isn't worth much over the long haul. Myers and Glanville should produce all year long. They may not produce much, but at least there is greater potential of a return.
