As some of you may know, you now have to pay to join Sandbox's Heavy Hitters game. For the past 2 years, it's been a great, simple fantasy baseball setup - and it was free. Well, this year they've started charging for it, which stinks. It was perfect for my (and my my friend's) needs, no need to spend a lot of time on it, just good fun.
Does anyone know of a comparable game that's free to play? Real basic play - salary cap, sign up to 8 position players whose value fluctuates with how they do, and you get points for what they do at the plate & on the basepaths.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

TSN offers a league like that. They have a bunch of $$ leagues, but their basic fantasy baseball is free. You get $30 million to spend on 5 hitters and 3 pitchers. You get points for different stats and the players' prices change every day. Go to

At the bottom left of the page you'll see the basic league. I hope this helps.

Awesome, thanks. Although it looks like Season 1 only runs until the All-star break - does it start up Season 2 at that point, or am I out of luck?
Thanks . . . .
