If anybody picked up Snelling from the Mariners on a roll of the dice, keep your ears tuned friday. Last night Snelling went down in a heap trying to put on the brakes rounding third base. He had to be helped from the field and could not put any weight on his knee at all. He will have an MRI on friday in Seattle, but early indications are a torn ACL and that his season is done. Kind of a shame, he was fun to watch and really seamed to being getting adjusted to the majors.

It is a shame. There's still some hope that it won't be season-ending, but apparently not much...

I just heard they put him on the 60 day DL
