I like Umpires calling the game, I like the added human dimension. I also detest bad/inconstent refs and umpires. I am fine with some umpires having a bigger strike zone and some having a smaller, I think it adds flavor to the game. I also think a computer system to monitor the umpires to ensure that they are atleast being consistent is a good thing, whether its true or not, I dislike the idea that certain pitchers will get certain calls and others won't. I am fine if Umpire A calls a ball 1/2 off the plate, and Umpire B calls a ball 2/3 off the plate, as long as they are both consistent with there own strikezone.
