He could put up great numbers if he could just manage to stay healthy. His value has decreased significantly since he's been a Met....If he can stay healthy he should be able to get back up to the value that he had when he was still in Florida....
his fantasy value was minimal last year due to that 260 BA,,if he can get back to the 2001 numbers of a 317 BA with 31 hrs and 103 RBIs he could be a force hitting in the middle of that met lineup this year.....
If he could ever stay healthy he would be great. He has carried the Mets at times when he is hot unfortunately he always goes down at some point. Oh well, it's still pre-season we can hope.
