Okay, if you have a way to see lineups early then look when Piazza has a C start and activate Dave Roberts. Or...just activate Roberts for the next three games.

I believe the post is referring to the fact that piazza isn't well known for throwing runners out and the mets are starting a series at LA. Hence it may be wise to play roberts to get some steals.

Tom Glavine and his 1.00 ERA and only 6 BB's in 27 innings might disagree.
Blessed are the cheesemakers.

It won't matter what Tom Glavine and his 1.48 WHIP he had last year think.
As long as Roberts gets on, he'll get some SB's. A walk to him with Piazza behind the plate might as well be a double or triple.

I'm kind of with chopper. I think Glavine will continue to have a good year. But Traschel and Seo the next two games could be money for roberts if Piazza is behind the dish.

On second read my original post does lack a flow.
I was justy pointing out the fact that Roberts and Piazza are going head to head. Watch Roberts bunt his way on vs. Glavine.

Picked him up for Bernie Williams yesturday, expecting lots of SBs.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
