Miguel Cabrera v. Alercy Ramirez

Postby JRM4833 » Tue Apr 27, 2004 2:12 pm

Both have been playing great. I have Ramirez and Lowell on one team and cant decide if Ramirez will keep it up (debating who to move). I am pretty sold on Cabrera and have been thinking about making a couple trades and trying to grab him (possibly for my OF). Who do you think will keep it up longer?

Who the hell is Alercy?

Anyways, if it's Aramis, I'd say he'll have a better shot of keeping it up than Cabrera will. Upside is obviously bigger for Cabrera, but Aramis has shown great power, and is finally getting a chance outside of that fantasy hell-hole they call Pittsburgh.

I would go with Miguel. Some people say he is the next Pujols; it looks like he can be a truly dominating player. Plus, he already qualifies as a LF, RF, and 3B in Yahoo. There is talk of him playing shortstop, covering for a slumping Alex Gonzalez so Nunez can come off the Florida bench and add some punch to the lineup.

aramis for this year, miguel for every other year after. just think the 21 year old needs 1 more year of maturing before he can sustain these kinds of numbers.
