At the risk of jinxing him, I have watched him pitch of late and I've been happy with it. The movement is back on his ball and his location good. Now that I've said this, he'll get racked. But if you believed in him before the season (I did) there is proof to back up a legitimate 13-15 Wins this year.
do you think he will put up better numbers than Wakefield? I know Wake will probably get more K's, but what ERA and WHIP do you guys think Jerome will have at the end of the season.
If I picked him up, I might consider just pitching him at home because his numbers are a lot better there than on the road.
I've started him every game this year in one of my leagues and spot started him in another. 3.95 era/ 1.06 whip/ 3 wins. K's aren't quite what I expected, only 14 in 27.1 innings, but it does seem like he's coming around lately.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I drafted him in my 24th round, granted I am a SF fan but I think he will do really well this year. His stuff looks good and he is way more confident. Too bad for me I dropped him after that HOU blowout for Sheets (not too bad). Then some Dodger fan dropped Weaver to get Jerome, blasphemy in my book, but this is fantasy.

you know, williams falls into a realm that i like to frequent when choosing my fantasy pitchers (they're soooo dreamy) i often think a good sign to look for is less than 1 H/IP.
this can backfire, damian moss comes to mind, but it gives you people to look at like jerome and adam eaton.
jerome seems to have consistently had less than 1 H/IP throughout his career, so as long as he keeps the walks down and makes sure that he isnt giving up XBHs when he gives up those hits, well then, the formula for success is there.
kind of out of desperation i have him in all three leagues. i'm not sold on the giants being a powerhouse, but if he pitches well he could be the de facto ace of the staff if j-schmidt isnt all hes cracked up to be this year.
