Well, not really, in fact I am not even married, sorry.
Anyway, here is my team in a standard 12 team 5x5 Yahoo league.
I had the third pick.

C Toby Hall
1B Mike Sweeney
2B Jose Vidro
SS Nomar
3B Troy Glaus
OF Preston Wilson
OF Adam Dunn
OF Vernon Wells
Util Frank Thomas
Bench Aubrey Huff, Austin Kearns

SP Roy Oswalt
SP Mark Prior
RP Billy Wagner
RP Jorge Julio
P A.J. Burnett
P Greg Maddux
P Scott Stewart
P Matt Mantei
P Brad Penny
P Tomo Ohka

I have made two trades I feel may have weakened my team. Piazza and Braden Looper for Dunn and Wagner and ARod (because everyone was freaking out on here about the injury), Castillo (injury concerns), and Padilla for Nomar, Vidro and Maddux. Tell me if you think my team is weaker now because of these.

I also feel I am missing something. If you could tell me what other type of deals i should consider or holes on my roster I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks to all who respond.

I actually like your team a lot.

Replacing Piazza with Hall definitely hurts you at the catcher position, but the addition of Dunn to your outfield and Wagner to your bullpen offset the loss of Piazza.

It seems like you could have gotten a little more for A-Rod. Garciaparra won't help as much as A-Rod, but he's no slouch. Maddux is a nice upgrade over Padilla, and Vidro is better than Castillo ... I just think you could have gotten more, as Padilla and Castillo are both far from terrible.

If you're missing anything, I'd have to say you could stand to upgrade your last 2 offensive starters. However, if Huff and Kearns improve upon their good seasons from last year, you could easily use them instead of Wells and Thomas and you will be all set!

I thought the first trade was good until I saw ARod at the end. You gave him up for far too little even with the injury concerns. He is tough and will start the season (even a small dropoff in production still leaves him a fantasy star). However, the second trade almost made up for it. That one definitely improved your team. Kearns could be your ace in the hole this year if he performs up to expectations. One more trade I would try is Wells and Thomas for an upgraded outfielder. As above, I believe Kearns will be more than able to replace Wells and Huff is a suitable replacement for Thomas (unless Thomas' "comeback" is a fluke in which case Huff is better). One more top outfielder and you've got a monster.

It's time to roll the dice.
