Your offense is your best asset. As long as Alfonzo is healthy and puts up his usual numbers, your infield should be strong. You have a great outfield with Vlad and Manny, and plenty of outfield depth on your bench.
Your pitching may hurt you a bit. Mulder and Mussina are nice to have at the top of your rotation, but Moss and Lopez will need to pitch as well or better than last year in order to adequately round out your staff. Sabathia is a big question, but could be a pleasant surprise. I think you could do better than Sidney Ponson on your bench! You also may be hurting for saves a bit, but it's only one category ...
I was thrilled with Vlad being at my #4 pick!! Then took Manny and then Mulder, Mussina.
Then having to get some infielders....the closers started going tooo quick. Escobar scares me but I am hoping Williamson is a gem late pick.
Hopefully with my power hitters and also my speed guys (starters totaling 157 SB last year) I can pick up my lower save count. Unless Escobar/Williamson surprise.
Ponson was my very last pick...I knew I needed a pitcher and figured after relooking the free agents, he would be the one to drop. Currently here are some FA:
Rodriguez, Felix (RP-SF)
Jennings, Jason (SP-Col)
Batista, Miguel (SP, RP-Ari)
Romero, J.C. (RP-Min)
Vizcaino, Luis (RP-Mil)
Valdes, Ismael (SP-Tex)
Wright, Dan (SP-CWS)
Lackey, John (SP-Ana)
Estes, Shawn (SP-ChC)
Zambrano, Carlos (RP, SP-ChC)
Benson, Kris (SP-Pit)
Any insight....

I'd take a flyer on Benson and drop Ponson. Also, it worries me that you have so many players with injury histories - Sweeney, Alfonzo, Manny, Aramis, Alou, Williamson. Plus, including Winter Ball, Lopez threw 341 innings last year. 341. No one else even came close. Deal him now before his arm falls off.
