pick what up? the cane that he needs for walking that he managed to drop?
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

He always starts a little slow, I'd keep him on the bench for about 2 weeks or so. (thats what I'm doing)
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

I dropped him for Rondell White......White is hitting cleanup and has been on fire. I will continue to monitor Bernie....

It's obvious his best days are behind him but he hit .330 2 years ago after a HORRID start. People were leaving him for dead in early '02 and then he wound up finishing 2nd or 3rd in the batting race. He was hurt last year so don't pay much attention to it. Give him some time because I don't believe his bat just evaporated completely over the course of 1 year.

btw, he could go on the DL for a sore shoulder. If I had Bernie, I'd be keeping an eye out for that.
