Pineiro Will Break Out In The Next Few Games Get Him

Postby shortround_phat2008 » Mon Apr 26, 2004 8:28 pm

I know he has been slumping of late, but i heard his shoulder was hurt, that's why his fastball was only 90,expect him to get it up to 94 next start, remember he throws a nasty curve! ;-D

What makes you think his shoulder will recover that fast?

Including Spring training, he's given up 39 earned runs in his last 43 1/3 innings. I dropped him and don't plan on picking him back up. His head is too screwed up right now.

ur killing yourself if your basing pineiro on spring training stats included! theres a reason why spring training doesnt count - so guys can try things that they wouldnt usually try. and i think you may regret dropping him this early, he is good enough to adjust.

Yes, he is going to break out, that's why i have him on almost all of my teams, the main pitchers u need to put on your team are oliver perez, zach day, pineiro, ishi, note only use him at home!, Clement, Wade Miller, Francico Cordero, and K-Rod!
