This is the point of the season when savvy owners will be looking to buy low, and there are certainly plenty of candidates this year. For his very first Point of View article, Patrick Martin follows up on my recent look at underachievers among the league's elite with Buy Low candidates who may be available for a far lower price, or might even be found on the waiver wire.
This may be his first Cafe article, but Patrick is far from a stranger to Cafe regulars: his wisdom and advice can be found in many a thread under the name Mookie4ever.
One thing to point out is that if you can snag Teixeira from an impatient owner, he's got 3B eligibility in most leagues and that's where his best value is.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I don't see AJ having a career year. New Park, New League and new Pitchers. Changing leagues is always hardest for catchers because they not only have to learn the league, they have to learn there own staff. I have never been big on Jack Wilson either. But good read ...

Good article...I just wish that Tike would do as you suggest and start stealing some bases! Of course, if he had an OBP higher than .250, he could at least start trying.
Tike's off to a really bad start. I hope he is at his low point and you fantasy owners can snag him up. If he gets the bat going like the end of last year (to the tune of a .330 BA), the SB's should be there!
