So does that mean he's going to trip twice on the way to home plate.........with nobody covering it, trying to score the winning run against the Yankees? If so, I hope that isn't the highlight of his career like it is for Cust.

John Maine SP O's -- I'd take him right now over any current O's starter outside Ponson and Riley. I think he'll get a shot before Rodrigo ever does again.

Sean Burnett SP Pirates -- Probably bench material in even NL-only leagues, but he'll arrive this year.

Steve Smitherman OF Reds -- with Kearns out, Griffey injury-prone, and neither Larson/Pena MLB proven, could get a shot eventually.

Dan Haren SP Cardinals -- Likely Carpenter/Williams/Suppan/Marquis struggle or get hurt.

Dan Johnson 1B & Graham Koonce 1B A's -- Durazo's been horrible; Karros/Hatteberg are the worst 1b platoon in MLB history.

Alexis Rios OF -- Since Delgado/Wells can no longer take roids, the Jays offense suddenly doesn't look so great.

David Dejesus OF KC -- now up with the big squad.


Derek Jeter -- Yanks will send him to AAA to get his act together and will eventually be called back up

Pickering...the Quad-A poster boy, except they don't make posters that big. Has a better chance of succeeding as an offensive guard.

Got to respectively disagree with you here. Pickering's too big to play an interior line spot. He'd have to be used at tackle or maybe on the d-line. Maybe the Pats could sign him to replace Ted Washington, though they just drafted Dinnerfolk out of Miami.
