johnson less than 8 cubs, but prolly ~1-3 ER.

zambrano more than 5 D-backs, ~1-3 ER as well.

it's going to be a tossup. zambrano, granted he hasnt had the greatest opponents in the world, has looked awesome. johnson hasnt looked as good, yet he's still randy johnson whom i believe is 11-0 with a low 2s era against the cubs for his career. tho these aren't your older brother's cubs in terms of offense, i think they might have a chance at beating randy.

their offense is pretty great right now, we'll check back and see how they're doing when alex gonzalez and michael barrett do their annual mail-ins and return to forecasted suckitude come may.

Ya I think that zambrano would be good for 5+... but Johnson may own the cubs because alot of their hitters are K prone... so we'll see.

RJ will get more Ks, but im banking on more than 4 runs given up by him. I think Zambrano wont get as many Ks, 5-7, but get the win and only give up 2-3.

Randy get bombed for sure. Vogelsong is another fireballer and they torched him real good, i see the same happening to RJ. i don't care that Vogel is young, RJ has been tagged just about every start except against the Padres. I say Cubs get 6 or 7 runs off him by the fifth.

You do realize that Steve Trachsel started against them yesterday and they only scored four runs. Unit for 8+ Ks is what you should be taking to the bank. He's facing such hitters as Sosa, D. Lee, A. Ramirez, and A. Gonz, not to mention Zambrano. He ought to have at least 4 Ks the first time through the order.

I'm a little worried he might give up 4 or more runs, especially because the red hot Moises Alou owns him to the tune of 7-11 for his career, but I'd say 4+ ER is a 50/50 at best scenario. I'm pretty confident he'll strike out 8 though.
