ponson has looked brutal in all of his starts this year....maybe he is uncomfortable being billed as staff ace or maybe he hasn't settled into form but i don't expect much out of him, even with the o's revamped offense. not sure what to say about Day, my impression from past seasons is an inconsistent guy who gets shelled quite a bit. since i'm more familiar with ponson, he gets my hesistant nod.

Ponson has been brutal in every start?

2 games ago he threw an 88 pitch complete game win and was superb. As the year goes on and the Os start getting into a groove he will be very solid.

I would much rather take him over Day, certainly.
