Quit the slang Karl, leave it "Boo-yaa Stuey" and Berman. It's a tired bit, don't try to be the story guys, give us the facts and then pass the ball to the Talent. And quit having Berman host BB2N every once in a while, I can only tolerate him during Football season. Espn thinks it's funny to have Berman do play by play for historic events like BB's 660, he's the freaking worst at play by play, I can only hope that BB breaks the record during a Saturday Fox game.
Well written, with a couple exceptions. One is that you forgot: ESPN is all about tired bits, and two Karl Ravech is great except for his occasional home run calls that I couldn't make any sense of. In full agreement with the Chris "stick to football because you sound like you are drinking, cause to say those lines you surely can't be SO"Berman. Wow that was a stretch, in case you are not getting it, that's Sober, man. Oh and Peter Gammons is my idol.
Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

Everything that I've seen of Gammons (and this is about 14 years since I started watching ESPN almost religiously since it's almost part of my job) indicates that he's a normally quiet, somewhat reserved guy who just happens to know a TON about baseball.
However, when he gets on the BBTN set and he gets heated, MAN does he let loose. I've seen him in arguments before where it looked like he was going to have a heart attack. The guy is passionate about what he believes, I'll give him that.
Kruk's argument about Arod being the 3rd "hitter" so he should "hit" had to have been one of the stupidest arguments Ive heard in a long time. He looked like an idiot trying to defend that weak opinion. I lost a lot of respect for Kruk on that show.
BTW - they reshot that segment several times - I saw 3 different versions in 24 hrs. The first taping was the worst - it had to have been just embarassing to any Kruk supporter
I hate Harold Reynolds. The man has come off as a moron more times on that show than I can count. But in this case, next to Kruk, he looked like a genius. I don't know how they could even have that argument--Kruk had no basis at all for his opinion.
Peter Gammons and Karl Ravech (most of the time) are great. They make the show worth watching. If ESPN could come up with one or two reasonably intelligent people to sit next to those two, the show would be perfect.
