I would say those predictions seem fairly reasonable. As for whether that makes him a decent bench player, or a solid late round starter depends totally on the size and depth of your league.
I've had him since last year in my 18 team keeper league......he looks like a Brian Giles type of player: power, and some speed as well. Not saying he'll be as successful, but put up the same type of stats although proportionately lower. He has very good potential. But Ramon Nivar seems to be taking some of his AB's away. Hopefully this 2 HR night will change that.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
I've been plugging Nix for a while now. His spring wasnt all that great so it worried me a bit, but he is now showing everyone his power. At this point, I might add him and only start him in Arlington. I don't know this for a fact but it seems like either all or all but one of his homers were hit at home. So keep that in mind. For keeper leagues, I would have snagged Nix 6 months ago. He's huge, looks like a football player, and has speed.
BTW, Buck is benching Nix against most lefties, like he did last year with Blalock.

His profile only says 6', 200 LBS, but is he actually really big? Cuz I'm 6', 200 LBS and I'd get smoked if I played football
lol, he doesn't really look that big but you can tell he is built real well. for those that didn't know he is basically a body builder....or was, not sure about now.
He's this year's Blalock. He'll nail righties all year and will sit vs. lefties. Really good guy to own if you have the ability to platoon him on your team as well.

Nivar was just sent down to the minors. Nix will still probably platoon against lefties, but I can live with that.
