simple question: hitters and closers frequently take days off for rest and whatnot.
is there any way to know or predict when they will take games off? i dont think i've seen any site with these kinds of updates, but maybe im looking in the wrong place. help?

If you look at Yahoo about 30 min before gane time thell have the line up for the game and youll know if one of your boys is getting the day of.
Baseball is the only field of endeavor where a man can succeed three times out of ten and be considered a good performer.

Yeah, go to the Gamechannel option on Yahoo sports and you can get the lineup, generally an hour or more ahead of game time.

What about for leagues that have to have rosters set the night before? Are we just screwed, or is there some website that has this info?

With hitters Yahoo has lineups at least an hour before the first pitch is thrown. You can change your lineup right up until game time.
With closers you will never know. Always keep them in your lineup.
