What's the deal w/ the friggin day offs?

Vladdy off, Kent off, Soriano off. I know they have to work almost 162 days a year in all but this is baseball. OK i forgot spring training. They are killing me. Anyone want to add to the list. I look forward to my Sunday off and being able to watch my marquee players.

These are super star players, they work hard 5-6 days of the week and most take Sunday off to rest (God even took the 7th day off). Last year, Bonds took almost every Sunday off. (Hes played every Sunday this year) ;-)

I'm without Kent, Vlad, Grissom, Laird...

Thome, Berkman, Soriano, Berroa, Lamb are all off too.

It's a bad day. Plus, I didn't start Zach Day against the Phillies. He went 8 innings and 0 ER.

yeah, I just started watching baseball again and didnt know about the Sunday off. It just sucks when you get your mind ready for something and half your team isnt there. By the way does anyone know anything about Teixiera? I heard they were evaluating him just wondering about the results

Fanball/Yahoo wrote:Apr 25 Rangers' slugger Mark Teixeira, who is on the disabled list with a strained left oblique muscle, took batting practice from the left side on Saturday and will take batting practice from the right side Sunday. Barring any setbacks, he will be activated from the disabled list on Friday or Saturday. "I feel better every day so that's a good sign," Teixeira told the team's web site. "When I'm playing a game, I'm going to be ready to go on both sides. We are doing each side one at time so we don't kill me right away."

Views: Sounds like promising news, but patience is needed. Fantasy owners should plan to keep Tex on the bench again this week and pencil him in for next Monday.

I'm actually playing a H2H league this year and these days off are killing me. :-[

Let's see:

Alex Sanchez---missed the last 3 games.
Edgar Martinez--missed a game, Friday I believe it was.
Kent---missed yesterday and today.
Vlad--out today.
Posada--day off Fri or Sat. (I know catchers need a day off here and there).
Mueller---missed today.
Renteria--missed a game this week.

And I wonder why my offense has seemed anemic this week. :-/

With Clement pitching a no hitter into the 7th I don't think Mike's 0-4 would have helped you much.
