Who says Hank B. can't hit lefties??

After starting 0-9 against LHP, Blalock is 8 for his last 19 against southpaws. Starting to come around perhaps?

He was a guy that I ranked more highly than most coming into this year, but I honestly think he's a top 5 3B right now.

I'd put him behind ARod, Rolen, and then I'd say it's just about a toss up between Blalock/Chavez/Glaus/Lowell. Chavez is probably still better, but he's every bit as good as Glaus and Lowell, in my opinion. Ramirez deserves to be in the conversation too.

Though your dislike of punctuation makes your posts somewhat exhaustin to read, you are correct about me getting the stat from the Rangers game.

I was watching it just now when it was brought to my attention from one of the guys in the booth. We'll see though with Chavez, I still think he's going to have a monster year after a slow start, but like I said, it's a near toss up even between he and Blalock.

I agree. Blalock is going to have a great year, but a better one next year. :-D

Top 5? Easily...potential for more, too.

The Rangers don't have much of a shot at the playoffs. They might as well let Blalock play against lefties, anyway, to let him mature for the future. That's what I'd do, anyway.
