Who is Better? Santana or Mulder?

Postby rippz » Sun Apr 25, 2004 3:09 pm

A manager in my keeper league has been trying to give me Santana for Mulder. This has been going on for about a week now. I just dont see how Santana is better.... Can someone please help me out. I think Mulder has a much better track record and his K/IP is up so far this year. I know Santana is a K pitcher but is he good enough to get rid of Mulder?

Are you crazy!!! Mulder is a top tier Ace, and Santana has the potential, but does not have the run support nor the history that Mulder has. Mulder was on his way to the Cy Young last year if he didn't get injured in August, and Santana has been a little shaky. I would tell the person to get a life.

Please answer my question concerning Myers, Clement and Mussina

i could understand if he was saying or trying to make the argument that santana HAS THE ABILITY TO BE BETTER than mulder... but as of right now, it just sounds like he's trying to play used car salesman...

Mulder has a much better track record, is more proven, and has been lights-out.

Santana, if he ever reaches his potential, could be better than Mulder. Could being the key word.

I'd keep Mulder.

The guy is trying to rip you off. Santana is a nice pitcher, but he's not a tier 1 ace like Mulder is. Don't even think about trading Mulder for Santana.

Holy hell. You even ask this question? :-? Mulder hands down. I doubt Santana will ever even be better than him, honestly. :-t
