Giambi does concern me a little bit though because of the knee. It took exactly ONE game into the season for it to start acting up. Unlike the other hitters, he has a potential physical problem that could have something to do with his problems at the plate (and field).
LOL, rock bottom!?! Try starting out 4-14 like the Expos. The Yankees will be fine, that's the problem with most NY sports fans: fickle Chicken Littles. They'll start to hit, Brown and Javy have looked great, Moose will get it together and Lieber and Contreras will provide an occasional quality start. They're guaranteed 90 wins.
Giambi definitely concerns me a bit, but even if he never hits .300 again, he'll probably have another 40-105 season this year. It's a shame about that knee....but that's what happens when you have an owner who's obsessed with aging veterans. Oldest team in the majors, don't forget. But they can still play.
