Is he a Yankees fan? Many, especially Yankee fans, promote their own team or ex-players of their own team.

That being said, I'd take Oswalt over Pettitte any day and it's not even a close race.

not this one... i think pettitte was way overrated even when he was playing for the yankees...

I didn't point any fingers. Actually, most well-informed baseball fans know Pettitte is overrated. Just some certain Yankee fans. You seem to know what you're talking about, as most Yankee fans on this board (give or take a few) do.
