I wanted an ace pitcher that I could pair with Prior in my keeper league. I gave up Byun-Hyun Kim, Juan Gonzalez, and Kris Benson for Vaquez. Was it a good deal on my part?

YES
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

yesss Juan Gone has 0 value in keepers. BHK and Benson may come back to haunt you but for right now the deal looks pretty solid on your part.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

Hell yeah, that's a great deal. Vasquez is an inning eater with a high strikeout/I.P ratio, respectively. When the Yankee bats wake up, he'll have more than enough run support to win 17-20. Hell, look what a lesser lineup last year did for Pettitte

(I'm not bitter.)

...what's one more year?

That's a great deal in a single-season league. In a keeper it's UNBELIEVABLE.
