Will he eventually settle in or do you think he'll be slumping the rest of the year?
I've got Pat Burrell and someone offered me Schmidt for Burrell.
His last start wasn't really promising, but in reality, he is still in spring training form and not season form.

I excpect him to settle down. While he probably won't get last years #'s, I still think he will have a good year.

Yeah, thats a good trade for you. Schmidt will not replicate last years numbers, but they will be good enough

Do the deal. Schmidt will get you a fair amount of K's and a good ERA and WHIP.
Burrell will probably hit 30-35 HRs. Guys like that are a dime a dozen these days.
I never smile if I can help it.... Showing one's teeth is a submission signal in primates. When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for its life.
