Maybe we'll all be able to pick him up off waivers by the end of next week. :-o

well right now my team sucks hitting wise. I've got a few jays and yanks spread around and have been losing games. I know it's early, but I'm already dropping back because guys like Matsui, Hinske, Delgado, and Wells can't hit..

Anyone else see the current issue of Baseball America? Wells is on the cover and scouts rate him the best center fielder in baseball, ahead of A. Jones, Beltran and everyone else. The comment with his score was "MVP waiting to happen". Well, the waiting part is right anyway. Granted, the rankings include defense and are based more for "real" baseball than "fantasy" baseball, but it's nice to see someone still has faith in him. If nothing else, maybe the attention will drive his price back up for us Wells owners.
"I'm telling ya, he jumped us. Gloves off, stick down, no warning. He challenged the Chiefs. Called us names. But Dave was there."

"Dave's a killer."

"Yeah, Dave's a killer."

"Dave's a mess."
