not sure if any of you where watching baseball tonight, but ESPN (on baseball tonight) clearly showed how Contreras was tipping his pitches to the Red Sox tonight.

he was bringing up his glove higher to his chest on fastball and
halfway on breaking balls
thought it was funny how clear it was.

I wonder if the hitters noticed. Pretty sad that a supposed veteran like him would make such a rookie mistake.
Torre also basically accused the Sox of stealing signs before the game. Announcers basically said it was stupid to complain about that sort of thing. Easy way to fix it is to agree ahead of time that the next time I call an off speed pitch away, you're throwing a fastball up and in.

4 years I've been playing fantasy baseball and not once have I heard a thing about tipping pitches.......the past 2 days I think I've heard it three times.
And a sidenote: #2000

i saw that too... it was funny how millar AND bellhorn were smiling when they missed the pitches he was throwing, then the next pitch they both jumped all over him... they definitely knew what was coming... not only was he dropping his glove when he was throwing his curve, but he was also not bringing his leg up as high when he threw it
