I'm going to the game tomorrow and I must say if they play like they did today I'm going to be extremely disappointed. I'm already a little PO'd that I'm missing the NFL Draft (let's go Cowboys) but I hope I at least get a good game from the Yanks and Sox.
With that, I say YOU SUCK CONTRERAS. Sorry just had to say that.
Well, that's always the bright side to being a Bomber fan. Today we go to bed with Donovan Osbourne as our 5th starter, tomorrow we can wake up with Randy Johnson or Matt Morris on the team without losing a thing except some cash.

Again with the RJ Yankee infatuation....
What part of Rosenthal's article didn't you understand?
Attention, Yankees: Don't expect Arizona to shop LHP Randy Johnson if it falls out of contention in July. Johnson, 40, might consider waiving his no-trade clause, but the team's new investors, seeking to remain competitive, view him as a franchise linchpin. "Both sides are so tied together," says Barry Meister, one of Johnson's agents. "I would be surprised if anything like that happened." Johnson consistently threw 93-94 mph and hit 96 several times in his shutout of the Padres last Friday night. . . .
It is HIGHLY unlikely Johnson is going anywhere. As for Morris, this is the Cardinals we're talking about, not the Reds. St. Louis is WAY too classy of a baseball organization and a historical ballclub to sell off their best pitcher for cash.
NO WAY St. Louis lets Morris go for almost nothing. NY will almost HAVE to give up something good in return which checking out their prospects, they don't got.
As long as Madman George is calling the shots instead of Cashman, it will be lasting for a looooong time!! And I for one couldn't be happier.
Remember the 80's, and how the Yankees were then?? That's what happened the last time George went nuts and ignored the advice of his baseball people.
"One of the teams represents truth, justice, the American way, and underdogs everywhere. The other represents George Steinbrenner!" - U.S. News and World Reports columnist John Leo on the difference between the Mets and the Yankees.
You Yankee fans need to settle down. Havent you gotten the idea that loading up your team with stars so that it kills the league and is ridiculous doesnt always work?
