1. What is up with the high strike not being called whatsoever? I know that the strike zone tends to be lower in the NL, but this discrepancy is way too great, considering both are in the MLB.
2. The Marlins cannot field for their lives. Beckett's not pitching very well and they're certainly not helping. Examples:
a. Redmond's errant throw on Furcal. That Furcal chip set the tone. Furcal's fast, but he did not need to rush it.
b. Castillo's bobble. No error charged, but he could've had a play at the plate with no error.
c. Conine at the wall for LaRoche's 2 run double. He didn't need to leap for that catch. Misplayed it badly.
End rant. God...you don't expect Josh Beckett to give up five runs against the Braves, who only have a very average offense this year, especially without Chipper.
