I just traded Lowell and Randy Winn for Sheffield.

To someone with no third baseman, Lowell looks like gold right now.

Well, I assume you mean horrible for him, and I'd agree. But he proposed the trade, with a bunch of smoke-screen players, and I countered. He wanted Lowell. I had tried to get Sheff all winter (keeper) but he wouldn't budge. Knowing the owner, he panics a little when his team struggles, and I benefitted this time.

He had Alfonzo at third and a strong OF.

If you mean horrible for me, please 'splain.
