I've got some dumb Cubs fan friends who don't know closer quality when they see one...
I'm taking a survey to prove them wrong-
Kyle Farnsworth... a top closer within the next two years?
thanks,

Farnsworth definitely has some talent at k/9 but I don't see much more than that in him. To your question, my opinion is NO.

he has an awesome fastball, but some control issues. He could be good once he fixes these problems.

Don't think so.
Big and powerful, but control issues. Also, he seems to want to blow pitches by people rather than trying to pitch to them and get them out.

Nope. Until he takes his focus away from impressing the ladies in the stands and decides to focus on pitching, he will never be a good closer.
